NOTICE: While OCFA is closed to the public to protect both the health of our employees, and help reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus, OCFA Planning & Development is offering the following services:

**Plans Drop-offs/Pickups - Monday through Thursday, from 8:00AM - noon & 1:00PM-3:00PM, OCFA will have “Drive-Through” Plans Pickup & Drop-off. As always, applicants must submit 2 paper plans, a PDF and pay the appropriate fees.

**Important - If your project is in a city that doesn’t normally allow direct OCFA plan submittals and/or pickups, please check before coming at (714) 573 - 6100.

For New Construction Inspections - Customers who have approved OCFA plans in their possession can schedule Inspections.

NOTICE: No "Over-The Counter" or "Accelerated" Plan Reviews until further notice.
NOTICE: Effective May 1, 2020, discs will no longer be accepted for PDF submissions. Only USB's or emails to (if under 10MB) are acceptable.
NOTICE: Effective March 1, 2017, a 2.45% convenience fee will be charged for payments using credit or debit cards. The convenience fee is based on the total amount of the charge and paid directly to the service vendor. No convenience fee will be charged for payments by cash, check, or electronic check (eCheck).

The Planning and Development Services section of the Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) interacts with developers, architects, and engineers to meet fire protection and life-safety requirements for buildings and developments constructed in the jurisdictions served by OCFA by evaluating these projects through the plan review and inspection process.
