PUBLIC COMMENTS DURING COVID-19

Board of Directors and Committee Meetings

The Orange County Fire Authority Board of Directors and Committee meetings are now open to the public, which aligns with the State of California's move to "Beyond the Blueprint for a Safer Economy" and the full reopening of business sectors. Those who wish to attend the meetings may now do so in-person. In an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 and the Delta variant, face masks are required for those not vaccinated. Also, the OCFA provides the public opportunities to view meetings online instead of attending in person. The meetings are livestreamed online at: https://ocfa.org/livestream.

IN PERSON PUBLIC COMMENTS

Members of the public who wish to address the Board/Committee members may do so in-person by filling out a Request to Comment form and submitting to the Clerk of the Authority before the meeting.

HOW TO PROVIDE REMOTE "COMMENT"

Members of the public who wish to comment on matters on the agenda or within the subject jurisdiction of the board or committee, in lieu of doing so in person, may submit an e-comment. E-comments will be provided to the board of directors upon receipt and will be part of the meeting record.

If you wish to make a live verbal comment via Zoom or telephone during the meeting, please complete the Request to Comment form and email the completed form to the Clerk of the Authority before the meeting to help identify who would like to speak during the correct item on the agenda. You will be prompted by the Clerk of the Authority when it is time to comment on your item. Speakers will be provided three (3) minutes to speak on any matter on the agenda or within the subject jurisdiction of the Authority. Note that by joining the meeting virtually, you will be able to speak but your video will not be enabled.

LIVE COMMENTS - USING COMPUTER / SMART DEVICE

Members of the public may provide live public comments via Zoom during Board/Committee meetings. You can join via the Zoom app on your smartphone or tablet by entering the Meeting ID and Passcode below and log in at: https://ocfa.org/VirtualComments.
