Shannon Dorsey is a Firefighter with the Orange County Fire Authority, bringing dedication, leadership, and a strong commitment to community engagement. Born in Bermuda and raised in San Bernardino, Shannon’s path to the fire service included experiences in law enforcement, CalTrans, Target, and EMT training before joining OCFA in 2020.

In addition to his firefighting duties, Shannon serves on OCFA’s Outreach and Recruitment Team, leading college athletic programs and inspiring future firefighters. He is also actively involved in youth events across Orange County, fostering understanding of the fire service beyond emergency response.

Outside of work, Shannon enjoys spending time with his family, balancing sports and activities with his children, and sharing moments of connection and recreation. His heritage is a source of pride, symbolizing strength, courage, and resilience, and Shannon strives to honor that legacy through his service and community engagement.
