Monay Lee

Firefighter Paramedic

Monay Lee is a Firefighter Paramedic with the Orange County Fire Authority. An Orange County native, Monay excelled in basketball and track at El Dorado High School and Edison High School before playing four years at California State University, Dominguez Hills, where she became an all-time scoring leader and earned a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. She lives in Huntington Beach with her fiancé, Samantha.

Before joining OCFA, Monay worked as an EMT and personal trainer. She values the team environment, camaraderie, and sense of purpose that come with firefighting, and she has shared her experience by mentoring and instructing at Girls Empowerment Camps.

Monay emphasizes the importance of reflection, resilience, and progress. She notes that celebrating diversity and recognizing the contributions of others strengthens both the fire service and the communities it serves.

Outside of work, Monay enjoys spending time with family and inspiring the next generation.
