Lee Nishanian

Firefighter Paramedic

Lee Nishanian brings the same drive, teamwork, and dedication from the soccer field to the fire service, where he serves as a firefighter committed to becoming a paramedic. Before joining OCFA, Lee played professionally as a center-back for Major League Soccer’s LA Galaxy, and he now channels that competitive spirit and focus into every call and training opportunity.

Lee and his wife, who met while playing soccer at CSU San Bernardino, are proud parents to their young son. Family time is his greatest joy, and in his free time, Lee enjoys traveling, staying active, coaching soccer, exploring new places with his family, and listening to 90’s R&B music.

A key lesson Lee carries from his soccer days is that every relationship matters: “Try to learn something from everybody, put yourself out there, and don’t be afraid to make mistakes,” he says. This mindset informs both his professional and personal life, helping him grow as a firefighter and as a parent.

Lee Nishanian’s dedication, energy, and commitment to learning make him a valued member of OCFA, inspiring those around him both on and off duty.
