From the NFL to the firehouse, Kevin Gerard brings discipline, teamwork, and dedication to his role as a fire apparatus engineer with OCFA. Before joining the fire service, Kevin played professional football in the NFL with the Ravens, Bears, and Dolphins, where he developed resilience and the ability to perform under pressure.

As a fire apparatus engineer, Kevin ensures his crew has the water, equipment, and support needed to safely and effectively respond to emergencies. One of his most memorable moments involved being among the first on scene to a two-alarm fire, where his early actions helped prevent the blaze from spreading to nearby buildings.

Kevin is married and a devoted father of two young sons, with whom he enjoys spending quality time outside of work. His skill, leadership, and commitment to service make Kevin Gerard a valued and inspiring member of OCFA.
