Joe Park

Firefighter Paramedic

Joe Park is a Firefighter Paramedic with the Orange County Fire Authority and a dedicated member of the team. He has made a meaningful impact on both the communities he serves and his fellow firefighters through his professionalism, humility, and commitment to service.

Born to South Korean immigrants, Joe was inspired by his parents’ hard work and perseverance. He discovered firefighting during his undergraduate studies at Long Beach State and pursued a career dedicated to helping others. Joe and his wife, Olivia, enjoy spending time with family, training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, surfing, and creating custom leather firefighter gear.

Joe emphasizes the importance of compassion, dedication, and mentorship in the fire service. He advises aspiring firefighters to cultivate a strong work ethic, maintain a positive attitude, respect others, and commit to continuous physical and professional growth. He also values the diverse workforce at OCFA, recognizing how it strengthens the agency’s ability to serve Orange County’s communities.

Through countless calls and patient interactions, Joe exemplifies the OCFA principles of service, teamwork, and integrity, making him a valued member of the organization and an inspiration to those around him.
