Eric Thorson has dedicated over three decades to saving lives as a firefighter with the Orange County Fire Authority. He began his fire service career at age 19 with the Oceanside Fire Department and has since responded to countless emergencies, gaining extensive experience along the way.

Reflecting on his career, Eric notes that, “The challenges brought on by Covid-19 have strained the EMS system here in Orange County and across the Nation, and being able to be involved in helping those in need has been very rewarding.”

Outside of work, Eric enjoys golfing and is a devoted fan of the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Lakers, often attending games for both. His dedication, skill, and commitment to service make Eric Thorson a valued and inspiring member of OCFA.
