Eddie Lee
Eddie Lee is a Fire Captain with the Orange County Fire Authority, bringing dedication, experience, and a passion for public service to his role. He began his journey with OCFA as a Fire Explorer at Station 6 and has worked his way up through positions including Firefighter, Firefighter/Paramedic, and Engineer. Eddie also gained experience with the Kern County Fire Department before returning to OCFA, the department he proudly calls his “dream department.”
Eddie’s professional development includes studies in Fire Technology at Santa Ana College, Paramedic Studies at Saddleback College, and Business and Public Administration at California State University, Long Beach. He has also contributed to programs such as OCFA’s Fire Apparatus Engineer Academy, the Fire Cadet Program, and Irvine’s All Chinese-Speaking CERT program.
Outside of work, Eddie enjoys surfing, hiking, and spending quality time with his family, including his parents, siblings, extended family, and his girlfriend. He emphasizes the importance of mentorship for anyone pursuing a career in the fire service, noting that guidance from experienced professionals shapes both personal and professional growth.
