Dr. Josh Bobko serves as OCFA’s Medical Director, bringing a unique combination of operational experience and medical expertise to the organization. An Air Force veteran, EMS fellowship-trained emergency physician, tactical medic, and long-serving Medical Team Manager for California Task Force 5 (CATF-5), Dr. Bobko has a deep understanding of medicine in dynamic and high-pressure environments.

A recognized speaker, advisor to multiple federal and state-level consortia, and recipient of the prestigious “Innovators in EMS” award, Dr. Bobko exemplifies OCFA’s commitment to servant leadership. In his role, he leads a team of skilled Nurse Educators and Firefighter/Paramedics, helping deliver one of the most advanced EMS programs in the country, serving more than 130,000 calls annually.
