Our People

Amparo Garcia
For nearly a decade, Amparo Garcia has been a dedicated member of the Orange County Fire Authority team. She began her fire service career in Human Resources and now serves as the Administrative Assistant for Division 7, which covers Cypress, La Palma, Stanton, and her hometown of Buena Park.
Amparo’s passion for public service began with the City of Santa Ana, where she worked in both the City Attorney’s Office and the Police Department. “I’m fortunate to serve at OCFA,” she shares, “a place that fills me with pride because I get to give back to the community I love.”
A proud mother of three, Amparo also considers OCFA her second family. Even her household reflects that connection—her family pet, Smokey the kitten, was rescued by the crew at Station 61.
Her work has been recognized with a Unit Citation at the Best and Bravest ceremony for her contributions during the Tustin Hangar fire. She is also a trained Documentation Unit Leader, a role that allows her to support large-scale incidents both in and out of the county.
We are proud to highlight Amparo Garcia for her dedication, service, and the heart she brings to OCFA and the communities we serve.
