Alan Perrault is a heavy fire equipment operator whose skill, dedication, and teamwork play a crucial role in fighting wildfires. He began his fire career with another agency before joining OCFA, where he operates dozers and other heavy equipment to support firefighters during significant fire incidents.

Alan is a devoted husband and father, and he enjoys spending time with his son and daughter, exploring the river and desert with his family. One of his most memorable experiences came while fighting an initial attack fire alongside his brother, who is also a HFEO with CAL FIRE — a rare and meaningful moment of family and service side by side.

Alan advises aspiring firefighters to find a mentor and absorb as much knowledge as possible. His expertise, dedication, and teamwork make Alan Perrault a valued member of OCFA and an integral part of every operation he supports.
