Sara Kennedy
Assistant Chief of Business Services
Sara Kennedy began her OCFA career in July 2015 and has worked in a variety of roles in OCFA’s Purchasing Division. She has played an integral role in developing game-changing public-private partnerships in wildland firefighting and brings a wealth of organizational knowledge and experience. In her current capacity, she oversees the Business Services Department, which includes budget, finance, procurement, Clerk of the Authority and legislative affairs.
Chief Kennedy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of California, Irvine and is a Certified Professional Public Buyer.
