Holiday Toy Drive
‘Tis the season for the Spark of Love Toy Drive! The Orange County Fire Authority is proud to partner with KWAVE to collect toys for thousands of children within the OCFA service area, which includes Aliso Viejo, Buena Park, Cypress, Dana Point, Garden Grove, Irvine, La Palma, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Los Alamitos, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, Santa Ana, Stanton, San Juan Capistrano, Seal Beach, Tustin, Villa Park, Westminster, Yorba Linda, and all unincorporated areas of Orange County.
The following Orange County cities have their own fire departments and are not part of the OCFA service area and they should be contacted directly for questions regarding their programs: Anaheim, Brea, Costa Mesa, Fountain Valley, Fullerton, Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach, La Habra, Newport Beach, City of Orange, Placentia.
Last year we collected over 34,000 toys for children in need. In addition to collecting toys at all 78 of our fire stations, we worked with 180 businesses and organizations within our service area to collect toys benefiting 116 non-profit agencies.

Looking to DONATE toys?
New, unwrapped toys are collected at all 78 OCFA fire stations and our headquarters starting Monday, November 24th through Wednesday, December 24th . Unfortunately, we are unable to accept clothing and used toys. To find your closest fire station to donate toys, please use the following link.
Additionally, OCFA and KWAVE will have several toy collection events throughout Orange County where we welcome all new, unwrapped toys. Mark your calendars for the following dates:

Businesses or Organizations looking to partner with OCFA by DONATING toys
Businesses and organizations looking to donate toys can complete the online OCFA Spark of Love form. If you would like to request collection boxes and posters, please do so by Monday, November 3rd. After this date, we welcome your support but will be unable to provide collection materials.
A representative from OCFA will contact you in late November to arrange for you to pick up your boxes/posters at an OCFA fire station close to your location.
Once your toy drive is complete, please bag and drop off the new and unwrapped toys at your local fire station. To find your closest fire station to donate toys, please use the following link.
Non-profits or Individuals Looking to RECEIVE toys?
For non-profits looking to receive toys, the application window to receive toys for this year’s Holiday Toy Drive is now closed. OCFA does not directly handle the distribution of any toys. Our partners at KWAVE distribute toys to vetted organizations starting at the end of November. Neither OCFA nor KWAVE distribute toys to individuals. Non-profits must operate within the OCFA service area, which includes 23 cities and unincorporated areas throughout Orange County. The following Orange County cities have their own fire departments and are not part of the OCFA service area; they should be contacted directly for questions regarding their programs: Anaheim, Brea, Costa Mesa, Fountain Valley, Fullerton, Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach, La Habra, Newport Beach, City of Orange, Placentia.

Financial contributions to the Spark of Love Toy Drive will be used to purchase toys for children. These toys will be distributed to non-profits within our jurisdiction bringing joy to children during the upcoming holiday season.
